how to make cat eyes

Room 14 has been making cat eyes,we made the cat eyes for a chrismas present or to hang on our Christmas tree

The material that we you need is

Wool

Hot glue gun 

Puddle pop sticks

Scissors   

sequins

button for decorations

how to make wool cat eyes 

first you have get your two puddle pop sticks then you have to make sure its like a x

secondly you get a wool i got red and green because there Christmas colors 

then you have rap it around the cross (two times)

make sure that when you  rap it around that like a x 

once you finish that you have to go around two times then you go a quarter turn keep going on and on and on

if the wool runs out you get another color tie it into a not and then keep going

then you can those your decorations 

i think my favorite part was when we get to take then home because you get to show your family

Inspiration-linear perspective

Last couple of days ago we were learning about linear perspective.Firstly you do a horizon line a horizon mean that it goes straightly across the page.Then you put a little line in the middle after that you draw a square got it next you draw 3 line one on the top one on the bottom and another one up top here is my 3-D square.

Cross country

Last week we had Cross country. Cross country was at Mingoue park I came 5th in the year 9's the hardest part was when we had to go around the hole field but luckily the 9 years old girl only

had to one lap my favorite part was when i came 5th.

Commonweath games

I learnt about Valerie Adams that she was 14 years old when she started the Commonwealth games. Valerie Adams is 29 years old she was born in 1984 October the 6th Valerie Adams real name is Kasanita Adams. I think Valerie Adams thinks that excellence is hard work,training hard and never giving up

This term I have learnt that Saturn is the 6th planet in our solar system,Saturn was named after a Roman God  of Agriculture, the challenging thing was our planet project I didn't know the planet that i didn't want to do because I wanted to do Venus then Saturn then I choose to choose Pluto because its easy and I already have heaps of facts about Pluto!

    Doug Wilson is a character how write's books. He visit because Christian emailed Doug Wilson he said to Doug Wilson that he did a mistake in he's book,then he came into room 14 and now he is doing a book about room 14.For my nickname I will like to be called Tyla berry.   

geometry

What I've learnt about geometry is that 2-D shapes are flat and 3-D are not. A cuboid has 4 sides and 4 vertices. Spheres are like circles and cuboids are like squares.

Imovie

It was pretty hard because it was embarrassing because I don't really like photos or videos even when I'm on a imovie you can do a video but most camera.

ANZAC Poem

ANZAC Poem I saw, Turkish soldiers firing death bullets towards me as I ran up the beach, I heard, whistling from the fast bullets, I felt scared and afraid and wanted to run back to the boat, I tasted, the sand that was blown into my mouth from cannon, Explosion next to me, I smelt, rusty red blood from the dead soldiers around me, I wondered if our team was going to win.
